Two Britons self-isolating in UK after leaving hantavirus cruise ship early

Two British people are self-isolating at home in the UK after potentially being exposed to hantavirus on the cruise ship MV Hondius, which they left early at St Helena in April and have returned without symptoms. Three passengers have died from the outbreak on the ship, which now has about 150 people still aboard and has been permitted to dock in Spain's Canary Islands, with health officials saying the risk to the general public remains very low. The remaining British passengers and crew on the vessel are expected to be flown home on a charter flight and will need to self-isolate for up to six weeks depending on their last potential exposure to the virus.
