Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has warned that if Britain seeks to rejoin the EU, it will not receive the special deal it previously had, which included opt-outs from the Schengen zone and euro, and agricultural rebates. He stated that Britain would need to accept pooling sovereignty as a fundamental requirement of EU membership, and that the UK's previous à la carte membership model would not be offered again. Sikorski suggested alternative arrangements such as joining a customs union like Turkey or accessing the single market like Norway could be options for Britain's future relationship with the EU.
