Google Cloud fraud defense, the next evolution of reCAPTCHA

Google has launched Google Cloud Fraud Defense at Next '26, a trust platform designed for the emerging "agentic web" where autonomous AI agents perform complex transactions. The platform is the next evolution of reCAPTCHA and enables businesses to verify the legitimacy of bots, humans, and AI agents while measuring and controlling agentic activity through new dashboards and policy engines. It integrates with industry standards like Web Bot Auth and SPIFEE to identify, classify, and analyze agentic traffic while providing granular control over different stages of user interactions.
