Today's politics
As a bit of a side, watching how things are unfolding in the UK government it’s pretty sad to see. The obvious dishonesty and lack of trust is one thing but what’s despicable is really how each side attacks each other in these moments. Rather than helping lead the country, conservatives and others would rather tear it apart. Does it help to add fuel to the fire in moments of turmoil? If anything you’d think parties would come together to try to address common problems of corruption and vetting processes that are not to a high standard. We need to change. Kemi Badenoch is not going to be PM anytime soon. So why does it make sense to call for the PM to resign. Instead of throwing sticks people should take a look in the mirror and realise they all have problems, they are all flawed with skeletons in the closet. The elitism, the sniping, the backstabbing, it all invalidates the work people took to get there. In fact it invalidates the work itself. They need to take a long hard look at what’s failing, together. Maybe there will never be consensus on how to govern the country but at this rate we might as well dissolve parliament and start again.
